bussiness exercise

Hi everyone,
I have created this blog to tell about my business exercise whuh i hade under the guidence of Prof. Manohar Kamath sir. Its a memorable experience that i would like to share with all of you.
Today we were told in the morning at 9 AM by sir that we are going to have our business exercise which will focus on we as a budding CEO getting experience by working in the corporate world. I was suppose to get a job with my buddy CEO who has to get the same job at MG road Pune. we were not supposed to spend any money on our travelling that is we had to go on our own without spending a penny(basically to become street smart). We went to a lot of shops to get a job but were not able to get one ultimately we got a job at captions which deals with outdoor advertising. we were told by the head of operations to go take a survey at Magnum Mall and Inox Multiplex. it was a survey to find out what all age groups people come over there and how many people shop or do window shopping. We stood there at both the places and were maling surveys when we had an experience about a shock. The shock was that apart from the eating joints in all other shops like pantaloons, reebok etc. 98% of the people just go for window shopping and that was what the result of our survey. Plus we came to know in INOX only mostly people from age 18-25 use to come rest were very limited in number so tha was our survey.
This work experience maybe for a very short period but it taught me one very good thin an that is that there is no substitute for hard work and sincerity if you want to do well in life.
